Pittsburgh Pirates get OF Corey Dickerson
Tampa Bay Rays get RP Daniel Hudson, 2B Tristan Gray and cash
Feb. 22: After falling out of favor in Tampa, Dickerson landed in Pittsburgh, where he'll take over as the primary left fielder (at least against right-handed pitchers). It's no worse a hitters' environment for him than in Tampa Bay's Tropicana Field, and while his OPS declined in every month last year, Dickerson could yet provide some cheap power to deep-mixed and NL-only teams.
Arizona Diamondbacks get OF Steven Souza Jr. and SP Taylor Widener
New York Yankees get 2B Brandon Drury
Tampa Bay Rays get RP Anthony Banda and 2B Nick Solak
Feb. 20: Souza's acquisition provides the Diamondbacks some much-needed power after J.D. Martinez departed via free agency, though Souza shouldn't match Martinez's home-run output, especially not with a humidor being introduced this season. Drury should play regularly for the Yankees while enjoying a similarly favorable hitting environment. Solak, meanwhile, could be a dark horse contender for the Rays' second-base gig at some point this season.
Tampa Bay Rays get 1B C.J. Cron
Los Angeles Angels get a player to be named later
Feb. 17: Shohei Ohtani's arrival in L.A. practically guaranteed a part-time role for Cron, as Albert Pujols will need to shift to first base more often to accommodate Ohtani at DH. In Tampa, Cron has a much clearer path to everyday at-bats at first base, though he's moving to an even worse park for power. He's a low-end mixed league corner infielder.
Minnesota Twins get SP Jake Odorizzi
Tampa Bay Rays get SS Jermaine Palacios
Feb. 17: Odorizzi gives the Twins a much-needed middle-of-their-rotation arm, though the move from pitching-friendly Tropicana Field for more-neutral Target Field does lower his matchups appeal slightly. He'll be a back-of-your-staff pick at most in mixed leagues.
Oakland Athletics get DH Brandon Moss, RP Ryan Buchter and cash
Kansas City Royals get SPs Jesse Hahn and Heath Fillmyer
Jan. 29: No one here is a fantasy standout, but Moss has some power to help in the AL-only endgame, while Buchter could be a ratio/holds helper in the same. Hahn is a pitcher to watch during the spring, if he can land a rotation spot.
Milwaukee Brewers get OF Christian Yelich
Miami Marlins get OF Lewis Brinson, 2B Isan Diaz, OF Monte Harrison and SP Jordan Yamamoto
Jan. 25: Yelich gets a huge upgrade in home ballparks, but he needs to show continued growth with his launch angle to capitalize. He's more intriguing, but don't get carried away with your home-run expectations. Brinson benefits the most in terms of playing time, on a Marlins team that can afford to be patient through his struggles, giving him the at-bats required to fill the homer and stolen-base categories. Toronto Blue Jays get OF Randal Grichuk
St. Louis Cardinals get RP Dominic Leone and SP Conner Greene
Jan. 19: Freed from the cluttered St. Louis outfield, Grichuk could thrive in a far more homer-friendly environment at Toronto's Rogers Centre. He'll play regularly in right field and despite some questions about his hit tool, could provide 30-plus homers at a discount price.
San Francisco Giants get OF Andrew McCutchen and cash
Pittsburgh Pirates get RP Kyle Crick, OF Bryan Reynolds and future considerations
Jan. 15: McCutchen goes from one pitching-friendly environment to another, and a more extreme one at that, and he'll man the most spacious right field in all of baseball at AT&T Park. His fantasy value shouldn't change much, but he could lose a few home runs. Read more from Eric Karabell.
Houston Astros get SP Gerrit Cole
Pittsburgh Pirates get RP/SP Joe Musgrove, RP Michael Feliz, 1B Colin Moran and OF Jason Martin
Jan. 13: You might think of Minute Maid Park as a significantly more hitter-friendly environment for Cole than PNC Park, but that's only true in terms of home runs. It's actually a pitching-friendly environment and boosts strikeouts, and the change of scenery should help, keeping Cole among the top 25 fantasy starters. Musgrove could get a look in the Pirates' rotation, Moran could take over at third base and Feliz provides bullpen depth. All could be endgame targets in NL-only leagues. Toronto Blue Jays get 2B/SS/3B Yangervis Solarte
San Diego Padres get OF Edward Olivares and RP Jared Carkuff
Jan. 6: Solarte, who has decreased his ground-ball rate in each of his four years in the majors, moves to a much more homer-friendly environment in Toronto. He's a multi-position infielder who is a nice mid-round pick for an AL-only team.
Chicago White Sox get RPs Joakim Soria and Luis Avilan and cash
Los Angeles Dodgers get RP Scott Alexander and 2B Jake Peter
Kansas City Royals get SS Erick Mejia and SP Trevor Oaks
Jan. 4: Soria is the notable name here, mainly because he lands with a team with little competition for saves. He's a worthwhile AL-only option for those looking to fill the category on the cheap. Alexander could help NL-only owners keep their ERA/WHIP in check.
San Francisco Giants get 3B Evan Longoria and cash
Tampa Bay Rays get OF Denard Span, 3B Christian Arroyo and SPs Stephen Woods and Matt Krook
Dec. 20: Longoria trades one extreme pitchers' park for another, keeping him more mixed-league corner infield material, but he gives the Giants a strong defensive left side of the infield. It's good news for their pitchers. Read more from Eric Karabell.
Los Angeles Dodgers get OF Matt Kemp
Atlanta Braves get 1B Adrian Gonzalez, SPs Scott Kazmir and Brandon McCarthy, SS Charlie Culberson and cash
Dec. 16: A deal driven by cash -- it solved both teams' long-term financial goals -- Kazmir and McCarthy could be useful rotation stopgaps for the Braves. Kemp might not even remain in L.A., while Gonzalez was immediately designated for assignment.
Texas Rangers get SP Matt Moore and future considerations
San Francisco Giants get RPs Sam Wolff and Israel Cruz
Dec. 15: Moore's fantasy value takes a significant hit with the move from extreme pitchers' park AT&T Park to Texas' Globe Life Park, making him a streaming option (and a weak one) at best.
San Diego Padres get SS Freddy Galvis
Philadelphia Phillies get SP Enyel De Los Santos
Dec. 15: Galvis should remain a starter in San Diego and maintain NL-only middle-infield value, but this deal was about clearing shortstop for J.P. Crawford in Philadelphia. Crawford is the better fantasy pick thanks to his speed.
St. Louis Cardinals get OF Marcell Ozuna
Miami Marlins get RP Sandy Alcantara, OF Magneuris Sierra and SPs Daniel Castano and Zac Gallen
Dec. 14: Ozuna, who was likely due some regression anyway, is about as valuable in fantasy in St. Louis as he was in Miami. The ballpark factors are similar for righty power and the Cardinals (4.7) scored almost the same rate of runs per game in 2017 as the Marlins (4.8). Alcantara is a prospect to watch in Miami, where he's more likely to make the team out of spring training. Read more from Tristan H. Cockcroft.
Oakland Athletics get OF Stephen Piscotty
St. Louis Cardinals get SS Yairo Muñoz and 2B Max Schrock
Dec. 14: With Marcell Ozuna headed to St. Louis, Piscotty moves to a team with more opportunity for him to play every day. He's a rebound candidate playing closer to home, though he could lose some at-bats against righties on an Oakland team that likes to platoon. Read more from Tristan H. Cockcroft.
Los Angeles Angels get 2B Ian Kinsler
Detroit Tigers get OF Troy Montgomery and SP Wilkel Hernandez
Dec. 13: Kinsler's move to the Angels gives him a better chance at a rebound in fantasy, as he could lead off a strong lineup that includes Mike Trout, Justin Upton, Kole Calhoun and Andrelton Simmons. It's bad news for Miguel Cabrera's rebound prospects back in Detroit, as the Tigers' lineup will be rather weak. Read more from Tristan H. Cockcroft.
San Diego Padres get 3B/1B Chase Headley, RP Bryan Mitchell and cash
New York Yankees get OF Jabari Blash
Dec. 12: Headley, acquired in a clear salary dump, could again be on the move, but he's an "only"-league option wherever he winds up. Mitchell's spring warrants a look, as in the right role he could be an NL-only sleeper.
New York Yankees get OF Giancarlo Stanton
Miami Marlins get 2B Starlin Castro, SP Jorge Guzman and SS Jose Devers
Dec. 9: Stanton's arrival clutters the Yankees' outfield, but also strengthens an already-stout lineup. Gleyber Torres now has a clear path to winning the second base job. Full fantasy spin.
Seattle Mariners get 2B Dee Gordon and international pool money
Miami Marlins get SPs Robert Dugger and Nick Neidert and SS Christopher Torres
Dec. 7: Gordon's league change dramatically shifts the balance of stolen bases between AL- and NL-only leagues. Full fantasy spin.
Seattle Mariners get 1B/3B Ryon Healy
Oakland A's get RP Emilio Pagan and SS Alexander Campos
Nov. 15: Healy's fantasy value doesn't change much, as he's still a mid-range mixed-league corner infielder. This locks his future in as a first base/DH type, affecting future eligibility.
