Randy Orton hit an RKO on an airborne Rey Mysterio on the outside of the ring, followed up with a second RKO for the pinball, and then claimed Mysterio's mask as SmackDown went off the air. They had some battles more than a decade ago on SmackDown, but it seems as though this is just the start of renewed tensions. On the flip side, Charlotte Flair defeated Billie Kay to open SmackDown and had Peyton Royce beat in a second match. Though that one ended in DQ, Flair continued the path of destruction that began at Survivor Series against Ronda Rousey.

By this picture, you can pretty easily figure out how the "Thanksgiving Feast" fight played out. The New Day put Big Show and Sheamus through tables on the way to a victory over the SmackDown tag team champions. After the match, New Day covered Cesar's in a variety of Thanksgiving-themed foods.

Daniel Bryan pronounced the "Yes" movement dead, in a promo clearly designed to cement his heel turn. He spent most of his speech talking in the third person, and wrapped it all up by calling himself the "new" Daniel Bryan. Rounding out the show, The Miz insisted an uprepared Shane McMahon tag with him, which led to Miz getting rolled up by one of the local enhancement talents labeled the Bryant brothers. Finally, Naomi and Asuka (in matching gear, which can only fuel speculation of a women's tag team title to come) defeated Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose.

WWE Survivor Series recap: Raw dominates, Flair snaps on Rousey, Lesnar outlasts Bryan

It was a clean sweep for Raw as the stars of Monday night went 6-0 against their SmackDown opponents, but in the biggest shock of the night, Charlotte Flair snapped on Ronda Rousey.

Monday Night Raw

If you missed the first hour of Monday Night Raw, you missed a lot of Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin. Shortly after Commissioner Stephanie McMahon announced the two would go head-to-head at TLC next month -- with Strowman getting Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble if he wins and Corbin solidifying his standing at general manager if he wins -- they went at it in a three-on-three elimination match. In the end, Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley pummeled Strowman, notably tying him up with a belt outside the ring and crushing him with chairs and stairs. Strowman walked away on his own two feet, but later, we were told he suffered a shattered elbow.

Matt Wilansky, ESPN.com1d ago

Battered and beaten the night before by a completely unraveled Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey made an appearance Monday, but she found herself in the tricky position of addressing her Survivor Series fallout, looking ahead to Nia Jax at TLC and putting on a solid performance that night against Mickie James, whom the champ beat in just a few minutes. Rousey was solid in intertwining all the simultaneous storylines, but the real question still remains: What’s next between her and Charlotte, especially considering they are on different shows?

Matt Wilansky, ESPN.com1d ago

‘Tis the season of dragging out storylines. Survivor Series is in the rearview mirror, and TLC, which is nearly a month away, appears to be little more than a buffer between now and the Royal Rumble. But after a game of cat and mouse all night between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, there was at least a little advancement in the saga. As Ambrose maligned Rollins, Roman Reigns and all the “dirty little children” in the crowd, Rollins ran to the ring, but was ultimately beaten down by Ambrose, thanks to a low blow, which led to two Dirty Deeds. The physiological battle was intriguing, but the truth is, the storyline feels like it’s going to get worn fast considering the payoff won’t come until TLC.

Monday Night Raw

With Seth Rollins forced to defend the Raw tag team championships by himself, the Authors of Pain defeated him two-on-one to win the titles. Dean Ambrose showed up post-match, attacked Rollins and offered no explanation for his motives. Other highlights from Raw include a few rematches, as Nia Jax defeated Ember Moon and, following a post-match attack on Moon, Jax aligned herself in a partnership with Tamina. A six-woman tag team rematch from Evolution was strangely and abruptly ended when Ruby Riott destroyed a pair of the late Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart's sunglasses that Natalya has worn to the ring. Bobby Lashley also finally got the better of Finn Balor.

A good chunk of Raw was dedicated to Baron Corbin fleeing an incensed Braun Strowman after the former cost the latter the Universal title at Crown Jewel. A scheduled Corbin-Kurt Angle match for the captainship of Raw's men's Survivor Series team was abandoned when Corbin fled the arena in a speeding car; Drew McIntyre took his place, getting the spotlight of a first-of-its-kind main event against Angle. McIntyre embarrassed Angle in a narrative-heavy match, ultimately finishing off the WWE Hall of Famer with Angle's own pair of signature moves. Rounding out Raw, Ronda Rousey responded to Becky Lynch with a solid promo of her own. We also got the crystallization of Elias' face turn with an embrace of local Manchester heroes Oasis and a big win over Dolph Ziggler. Apollo Crews also picked up a win, over Jinder Mahal.

NXT Recap

Tonight’s episode of NXT TV was highlighted by a main event featuring NXT championship number one contender Velveteen Dream and Lars Sullivan. Sullivan recorded the win with the help of NXT champion Tommaso Ciampa, who caused a distraction. Shortly after, a scuffle broke out between Dream and Ciampa that ended with Dream gaining the advantage and posing with the NXT championship. In other action, Heavy Machinery defeated the Forgotten Sons and Dakota Kai beat Taynara Conti. A couple matches were announced for next week. Bianca Belair will battle Mia Yim and two members of the opposing War Games teams at the upcoming TakeOver: War Games event will face off with the advantage in the match on the line. Speaking of TakeOver: War Games, Shayna Baszler will defend her NXT women's championship against Kairi Sane in a two out of three falls match at the event.

Survivor Series

SmackDown general manager Paige announced this year's Survivor Series women’s team – Carmella, Naomi, Sonya Deville, Asuka and Charlotte Flair. But oddly, when Charlotte’s name was announced, she never came out to the ring. Instead, Mandy Rose did, and she called out each of the aforementioned names, including her longtime partner Deville. The segment ended with a few fisticuffs, a lot of confusion and a no-show by Charlotte. The question now becomes: Will The Queen indeed show up at Survivor Series?

WWE Evolution recap: Rousey and Lynch retain, Baszler becomes two-time NXT champ, Storm wins Mae Young

Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch successfully defended their championships belts, while Nia Jax won the Battle Royal.

Shayna Baszler is a two-time NXT women's champion, after what could easily be called the match of the night thus far at Evolution, against Kairi Sane. Late in the match, Sane sent Baszler flying into the crowd -- right into Baszler's friends Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke. Shafir and Duke got involved with the finish, attacking Sane while the ref was otherwise occupied -- allowing Baszler to pick up the submission win. On a night where Ronda Rousey -- the fourth member of that quartet known as the 4 Horsewomen of MMA -- is also in action, it's worth keeping an eye on later in the night.

Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya bested the Riott Squad in a really fun six-woman tag team match. When Banks stepped up to the top rope and hit a frog splash for the victory, the crowd got as loud as it's been all night inside of the Nassau Coliseum.

Recaps

After a brawl that spilled all over the Full Sail campus, NXT General Manager William Regal announced Undisputed Era will battle the War Raiders, North American champion Ricochet and U.K. champion Pete Dunne in a War Games match at TakeOver: WarGames II on Nov. 17. Regal also announced that Tommaso Ciampa will defend his NXT championship against the Velveteen Dream. On Wednesday, we also got the NXT TV debut of Matt Riddle, who picked up a win against Luke Menzies and tag team victories for new EVOLVE tag champs, the Street Profits over The Mighty as well as Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan over Humberto Carrillo and Raul Mendoza. Nikki Cross also defeated Mercedes Martinez. After Cross won, Johnny Gargano's wife Candice LeRae came out to confront Cross. As Cross walked away, Aleister Black emerged and shared a chilling exchange with LeRae regarding Gargano's whereabouts. It was later announced that Black will face off with Gargano at TakeOver.

Mustafa Ali took a beating, but got the roll-up victory over Tony Nese to earn the No. 1 contendership for the Cruiserweight Championship. After the match, there was a collective gasp from the live crowd when it looked like Cedric Alexander, who seemingly came out to save Ali from more punishment from Nese, was setting Ali up for the Lumbar Check, but Alexander instead raised Ali's hand in victory. In other 205 Live news, Brian Kendrick picked up a win over Gentleman Jack Gallagher, and got some backup from Akira Tozawa, preventing interference from Drew Gulak. And while Gran Metallik picked up a victory, TJ Perkins emerged from the audience to snatch his mask.

SmackDown Live

AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE championship, originally scheduled for Friday's Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia, instead took place Tuesday night as the opening match of SmackDown Live. After more than 20 minutes worth of a classic, Styles picked up the victory via submission. Samoa Joe returned and attacked both men post-match and hoisted the title into the air. In terms of a work-around that seems designed to get Bryan off of Crown Jewel, it was a creative and entertaining move in a tough spot.

Tim Fiorvanti, ESPN.com21d ago

A little disappointing there wasn’t more fallout from Evolution. It appears the Becky Lynch-Charlotte Flair rivalry will take a hiatus so each can focus on her Survivor Series match. Lynch had some fighting words for the Raw women’s champion, Ronda Rousey, while Charlotte was relegated to a quick interview in which she was reluctant to accept the captaincy of the SmackDown women’s team because of her failure to regain the championship Sunday. “I don’t think I’m the right woman for the job.” Much more to come on that front in the coming weeks.

Monday Night Raw

Shawn Michaels hit a superkick on The Undertaker in a final confrontation ahead of Crown Jewel to close out Monday Night Raw. Other highlights from the night include a face off between Nia Jax and Tamina, the Lucha House Party defeating The Revival, Dolph Ziggler topping Apollo Crews and a win for Bobby Roode & Chad Gable.

Tim Fiorvanti, ESPN.com22d ago

Monday Night Raw was dedicated to two primary objectives - looking back at Evolution, and ahead to Friday's Crown Jewel show. The night's action opened with Brock Lesnar getting the upper hand against Universal championship opponent Braun Strowman. Trish Stratus and Lita teamed with Natalya, Bayley and Sasha Banks to beat the Riott Squad. Elias continued his war of wills with Baron Corbin, defeating Jinder Mahal in the process, and Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley got the jump on Finn Balor.

WWE

An intensely emotional night of Monday Night Raw that saw Roman Reigns relinquish the Universal championship because of a leukemia diagnosis ended with a shocking in-storyline betrayal that blew The Shield apart. Moments after Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre to become two-time Raw tag team champions, Ambrose turned on Rollins, DDT'd him in the ring and then did so again on exposed concrete on the floor. On a night with so much genuine emotion in play, a major storyline change is a big risk - but it could very well pay off in a big way as well.
