It should come as no surprise but on Tuesday the Shannon Briggs-Fres Oquendo fight for a vacant secondary heavyweight world title was officially cancelled, as was the entire card. The show was scheduled to take place on June 3 at the Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, but canceled because Briggs tested positive for dramatically increased levels of testosterone in a random urine test conducted by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association on May 14. Briggs' test result was ruled "atypical" when his testosterone to epitestosterone ratio was 7.89 to 1, which far exceeded the allowable threshold of 4 to 1 under World Anti-Doping Agency standards.
