Christian Yelich broke a tie with a solo home run in the top of the eighth, Milwaukee's bullpen pitched five scoreless innings, and the Brewers beat the Minnesota Twins 5-4 on Saturday night to take the first two games of the three-game series.

Freddy Peralta is doing some serious dealing in his big league debut for the Brewers. He has 11 strikeouts through five innings -- oh, and he hasn't allowed a hit. The last pitcher with at least 11 K's and no runs allowed in his MLB debut was Matt Harvey back in 2012.


Brewers put Anderson on DL; Peralta to debut

Right-hander Chase Anderson was put on the 10-day disabled list because of illness by the Milwaukee Brewers, who recalled right-hander Freddy Peralta from Triple-A Colorado Springs and slated him to make his big league debut against Colorado.
