Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was having his best game of the season until it ended in one play on Thursday night.
Flacco gave himself up with a late slide in the second quarter on Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins and was hit by linebacker Kiko Alonso, causing his helmet to fall off and resulting in a concussion that knocked Flacco out of the game.
Alonso was flagged for a personal foul on the play, but he wasn't ejected. He called it a "bang-bang" play, noting he expected Flacco to slide but that the slide came later than he anticipated.
What is your take?
It was the first personal-foul penalty against Alonso during his four-year NFL career.
The Ravens took out their frustration on the Dolphins with a 40-0 whitewashing, even with the loss of Flacco.
