Eagles' Jordan Hicks leaves game after suffering leg injury on 2nd play

PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles middle linebacker Jordan Hicks needed help coming off the field when he exited Philadelphia's 34-24 win over the Washington Redskins two plays into Monday night's game.

Hicks went to the turf while in pass coverage. He leaned on trainers as he was helped to the sideline, unable to put pressure on his right leg.

Hicks has been dealing with ankle and calf injuries over the past several weeks. He was listed as questionable on the injury report heading into Monday night's contest, but he had said during the week that he was on the mend and ready to play against Washington.

The Eagles were down two of their starting linebackers Monday night, as Mychal Kendricks was inactive with a pulled hamstring. The duties fell to Nigel Bradham, Najee Goode and Joe Walker.
