Detroit Tigers television announcers Mario Impemba and Rod Allen, who were suspended by Fox Sports Detroit last month after allegedly getting into a physical altercation, will not return in 2019, according to a Detroit Free Press report.
The two were suspended on Sept. 7, three days after the alleged incident occurred in the broadcast booth before a game in Chicago against the White Sox.
Impemba and Allen spent nearly 17 seasons together as the team's main television team. Allen split color-commentating duties with Kirk Gibson and Craig Monroe the past two seasons.
