There was no question about the strength of California's offensive class last year, as elite linemen dominated the landscape. In the 2013 class, offensive talent is spread more evenly throughout the positions, but college coaches have found plenty to like when it comes to California pass-catchers.
Four wide receivers can be found in the ESPN 150: Washington commitments Damore'ea Stringfellow (Moreno Valley, Calif./Rancho Verde) and Darrell Daniels (Oakley, Calif./Freedom), as well as USC commitments Steven Mitchell (Mission Hills, Calif./Alemany) and Sebastian LaRue (Santa Monica, Calif./Santa Monica).
California's strong history at the quarterback position is also represented yet again. Seven signal-callers -- all of them verbally committed already -- are listed among the top 30 prospects in the state. And while California's top tailback -- Justin Davis (Stockton, Calif./Lincoln) -- checks in at No. 16 nationally at his position, there is strength in numbers behind him, with five additional four-star running backs from the state.
