Wolverines go fishing in Florida

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- When Rich Rodriguez was at Michigan, one of his favorite high schools in Florida was Pahokee. But it seems that this Michigan staff has a new favorite school that lies northwest of Pahokee, on the Gulf of Mexico – Tarpon Springs East Lake High School.

The Wolverines have extended a trio of offers to East Lake prospects -- 2014 offensive lineman Mason Cole, 2014 wide receiver Artavis Scott and 2015 wide receiver George Campbell Jr. And those three are tentatively planning to come to Ann Arbor either the weekend of Feb. 17 or 24 to see the campus and take in the Penn State or Illinois basketball games, respectively.

For Campbell Jr., who was offered just last week, it'll be his first time to Ann Arbor. He holds four other offers, mainly from Florida schools, so he has been on other unofficial visits, but this will be his first trip for which he really has traveled. He also wants to take visits to Clemson, LSU, Notre Dame and Ohio State.
