Bracket projection: Wichita State

Admit it, you thought the Wichita State Shockers would crash and burn after the departures of guards Fred VanVleet (Toronto Raptors) and Ron Baker (New York Knicks) to the play-for-pay ranks. It didn't happen. Gregg Marshall's "Play Angry" bunch went 30-4 (its fourth 30-win season in the past five years) and is in the field of 68 for a sixth straight season. Marshall's deep squad features two first-team All-Missouri Valley players in 6-foot-4 redshirt freshman Landry Shamet and 6-8 sophomore Markis McDuffie and has no seniors. Can Wichita State do some damage in the Big Dance?

ESPN Insider has your answers, as Joe Lunardi has enlisted a team of bracketologists to compile advanced metrics, key scouting intel and best- and worst-case tournament scenarios for all 68 teams to help you make smart picks in your bracket.
