Kelly Oubre Jr. heard rapper Drake call him a "bum" as he ran past his courtside seat during Game 2, a moment that went viral. "That's my guy though," the Wizards forward said with a smile. "I see him in the summer time all the time... we pretty much run the streets of LA together, on the A-list tip, not in the hood way. He is a great rapper... I have no beef with him... We were talking trash the whole game, he was talking to John [Wall] just like he does every game. The camera got him saying I'm a 'bum' but they didn't see me shoot a 3 after that. It is all fun and games... it is all love."

DeMar DeRozan matched his career playoff-high with 37 points, Jonas Valanciunas had 19 points and 14 rebounds and the Toronto Raptors beat the Washington Wizards 130-119 on Tuesday night, taking a 2-0 lead in a playoff series for the first time in...

John Wall is doing everything he can to carry the Wizards in the fourth. He had a spectacular block on Lucas Nogueira's dunk attempt, collected the rebound and hit Ty Lawson for a 3. He has drawn fouls and made four free throws and helped cut the lead to five. But DeMar DeRozan has been on the attack and keeps denying the Wizards with either a timely mid-range shot or free throws to push the lead back up to 14.

After spending the last two days talking about how they had to stop Toronto's shooters and play better defense and hustle to 50-50 balls, the Wizards looked like a team halfway toward summer vacation rather than one trying to even this series. Washington looked disinterested at times in playing defense as Toronto scored 76 points and made 11-of-22 3-pointers in the half. This was after the Raptors made 16 3's in Game 1.

Mahinmi issued flagrant foul for hit on Ibaka (0:42)

There was a long play review for a Ian Mahinmi flagrant foul and then a longer delay on the court as staff furiously wiped down a spilled drink at the corner of the court. The Wizards, of course, can use anything they can get to slow red-hot Toronto and regather themselves somehow. This start has been embarrassing for Washington.

So Washington came into Game 2 knowing it had to improve on defending and finding Toronto shooters and the Wizards' defense has managed to start Game 2 playing worse. The Raptors buried 7-of-13 3-pointers and shot 59.3% from the field to lead by as much as 22 in the first quarter. With John Wall and Bradley Beal both picking up two fouls, Washington's offense struggled but the Wizards were really crushed on the glass, 17-8, in the quarter.

Ty Lawson is making his Wizards' debut after the team signed him last week. Lawson, thrust into early action when John Wall picked up his second foul, joined the team directly from China where he was playing overseas. Lawson is playing in his first game since April of 2017. Bradley Beal believes Lawson can make an impact in this series.
