Read below for our preseason roto-league rankings.

LeBron James is in L.A. Gordon Hayward is back to 100 percent for Boston. Kawhi Leonard is a Raptor. DeMar DeRozan is a Spur. Russell Westbrook had arthroscopic knee surgery and could miss the early part of the season. And who could forget, DeMarcus Cousins is returning from a torn Achilles as a member of, you guessed it, the Golden State Warriors.

We're not lacking for storylines as we get set for another great season of fantasy hoops. To make it even more compelling, we have a number of rookies who have a real chance to make an immediate impact and play a huge role in the fantasy landscape.

There's No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton in Phoenix, who shined at times during the Las Vegas summer league. There's international sensation Luka Doncic (No. 3 overall) in Dallas, who future Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki is already raving about. There's college star Trae Young (No. 5 overall), who will play a key part in Atlanta's rebuilding efforts.

And then there are others -- Sacramento's Marvin Bagley III (No. 2 overall) and Memphis' Jaren Jackson Jr. (No. 4 overall) -- who figure to see big minutes right out of the gate, while Chicago's Wendell Carter Jr. and New York's Kevin Knox both shined in summer league and look like difference-makers.

Excited yet?

With all the player movement and changes around the league, fantasy drafts will take on a different look this season.

So which players are on the rise heading into the 2018-19 campaign? Who has seen their fantasy values fall for one reason or another? Where are all the promising rookies positioned to be selected in fantasy drafts?

Here is my top-150 ranking for leagues that use eight-category (points, 3s, assists, rebounds, steals, blocks, field goal percentage and free throw percentage) rotisserie (roto) scoring systems.
