Niang signs partial guarantee with Warriors

Sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that free agent Georges Niang has signed a partial guarantee with Golden State and will likely play for the Warriors' G-League affiliate in Santa Cruz. Niang appeared in 23 games for the Indiana Pacers last season.

Warriors, come out to play

The defending NBA champs will be involved in several must-see matchups this upcoming season, including a Finals rematch with the Cavaliers on Christmas.

To begin the 2018 calendar year, Golden State plays eight of its first 10 games of the road. This stretch includes two road games against the Rockets and three road games in four nights against the Bucks, Raptors and Cavaliers. According to RPM, the Warriors have the hardest schedule in the month of January (.552 opponent projected win percentage).

The Warriors will be on ESPN, ABC and TNT a league-high 31 times in 2017-18, representing 38% of their entire schedule. Three teams (the Hawks, Magic, and Nets) will not play a game on any of the league's national TV partners this season.
