Jason Day listed as 7-1 Masters favorite by Westgate SuperBook

Jason Day came up just short at the PGA Championship, but the world's No. 1-ranked player is the early favorite at golf's next major, the 2017 Masters.

On Monday, the Westgate SuperBook posted odds to win next year's Masters, with Day listed as the 7-1 favorite. Jordan Spieth is next at 8-1, followed by Rory McIlroy at 10-1 and Dustin Johnson at 12-1.

Jimmy Walker, who won the PGA Championship as a 125-1 long shot, is 60-1 to win the Masters. Walker closed out his first major with a 3-foot par putt on No. 18 on Sunday, besting Day by one shot.

The SuperBook took eight small bets on Walker to win the tournament, and assistant manager Jeff Sherman said Walker was one of the book's best results.

Two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson is 15-1, followed by Adam Scott at 20-1 and Henrik Stenson, Rickie Fowler and Justin Rose at 25-1. Three-time Masters champion Phil Mickelson is 30-1, and reigning Masters champion Danny Willett is 50-1.

Tiger Woods, who for the first time in his career missed all four majors in a season, is listed at 60-1 to win next year's Masters. Woods has not played in a PGA Tour event since finishing 10th at the Wyndham Championship in August 2015. He is rehabbing from back surgery and has said that he will not play this season. For Masters bets to be official, golfers must start the tournament.

The 2017 Masters will be held April 6-9 at Augusta National Golf Club.
