IBF Africa super featherweight holder Azinga Fuzile will take on former IBF super featherweight world champion Malcolm Klassen on October 21, at the Orient Theatre, East London.

South Africa's Fuzile, 22, is unbeaten in 11 fights, and has wins over former title contenders Macbute Sinyabi and Tshifhiwa Munyai.

Now 'Golden Boy' faces what could be his toughest test. Klassen, who won his IBF world belt twice, in 2006 and 2009, has 14 years on the talented Fuzile.

Klassen again tried for the IBF super featherweight belt in February this year, but lost to Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov. Since then he's had one fight, a win over Yohane Banda in July.

Fuzile, a southpaw from East London in the Eastern Cape, made his debut in 2014, and has yet to lose a pro fight. His most recent win was his current title bout, against Waldi Usman in July.

Colin Nathan, Fuzile's trainer, said on The Sowetan of his man's chances: "Malcolm is a gifted former legitimate world champion who has enough to educate Azinga but Azinga will emerge as the professor.

"It is a tricky and risky fight but definitely a great test for Azinga. Some people are saying this fight came too soon for Azinga and I disagree.

"If Azinga is as good as we think he is, he must beat Malcolm and I know that he will beat him."

The undercard of the Rumble Africa Promotions event will see IBF-ranked featherweight Lerato Dlamini take on Haidaro Mchanjo.
