Tyson Fury has told Deontay Wilder to send him a contract, and he will step in to fill the void should Anthony Joshua decide to fight Alexander Povetkin.

Eddie Hearn insisted that Wilder's games had caused Joshua to move foward with a fight against WBA mandataory challenger Povetkin, putting a possible unification fight with Wilder in doubt.

While Wilder hit back last night with an expletive-laden rant in which he labelled Joshua "not a true champion" and a coward for not facing him.

Now former heavyweight champion Fury has offered his services to Wilder, apologising to the American on behalf of Hearn and Joshua, and adding that should a contract be sent, he will sign it within 10 seconds.

"You are talking and looking at the original, real world heavyweight champion from this country, me," said "They won't fight you. They have took three months, stringing the fans along, with no intention of fighting."

"I will fight you in three seconds, nevermind three minutes. Get Al Haymon to send me the contract and I will show you how long it takes to sign it. Wallop. Ten seconds, done. Signed, stamped, delivered, photograph taken, uploaded to Instagram."

Fury added: "The ball is in your court."
