Junior lightweight world titleholder Miguel Berchelt will make the third defense of his belt in a fight that will air live on ESPN+ in the United States at 11 p.m. ET on Saturday from the Poliforum Zamna in Merida, Mexico.

Berchelt won the title by defeating Francisco Vargas in January 2017. He has defended the belt with a unanimous decision victory over former world titlist Takashi Miura in July and by third-round knockout of Maxwell Awuku in February.
