Josh Rosen takes aim at NCAA over UCLA's new apparel contract

The sports world started buzzing when news broke that UCLA would be announcing its new shoe apparel deal at some point on Tuesday.

UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen took to Instagram to comment on the record-setting deal, posting a screen shot of the story the Los Angeles Times ran on the subject.

Rosen captioned the photo: "We're still amateurs though... Gotta love non-profits #NCAA"

An hour after the photo was posted, it was taken down. It's not the first time Rosen has used Instagram to voice his thoughts on public matters. In April, Rosen posted a photo to Instagram of himself at the Trump National Golf Club with the caption "F&%k Trump" and a hat reading the same (but unedited).

UCLA's 15-year, $280 million deal with Under Armour would be the largest in college sports history with Ohio State (Nike: $252 million, 15-year deal), Texas (Nike: $250 million, 15-year deal) and Michigan (Nike: $173.8 million, 11-year deal with four-year option) coming up as the next highest deals.
