With questions surrounding Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa, the New York Jets are exploring the wide-receiver market and have scheduled a visit Tuesday with free agent Terrelle Pryor, a source confirmed.

Pryor, coming off an injury-plagued season with the Washington Redskins, is visiting the Seattle Seahawks on Monday. If he doesn't sign in Seattle, Pryor will make the trip to New Jersey.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Pryor disappointed with the Redskins after signing a one-year, $6 million contract. He played only nine games and finished with 20 catches, 240 yards and one touchdown. He injured his ankle in Week 2 and eventually required surgery.

Pryor enjoyed a breakout year with the Cleveland Browns in 2016 (77 catches, 1,007 yards and four touchdowns), but he generated little interest on the free-agent market, surprisingly.

The Jets didn't chase any of the big-name receivers in free agency, but they could be looking for an affordable veteran. Anderson is facing a likely league suspension stemming from two arrests in the last 10 months. Coach Todd Bowles acknowledged recently "there's some concern" about Anderson, whose off-the-field behavior is testing the organization's patience.

Pryor is the same type of receiver as the 6-foot-3 Anderson -- long and fast.

As for Enunwa, he missed last season because of neck surgery. The Jets expect him to be ready for training camp, but he hasn't resumed football activities.

Right now, their top three receivers are Anderson, Enunwa and Jermaine Kearse, with 2017 draft picks ArDarius Stewart and Chad Hansen as the primary backups. Clearly, the Jets need a No. 1 wideout, but there are none left in free agency and it'll be hard to find one in the draft without any second-round picks. If healthy, Pryor -- a converted college quarterback -- would be a worthwhile addition on a one-year, prove-it contract.
