The commercial: Malcolm Butler vs. Antonio Brown

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler is featured in a new commercial with Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, and the new spot aired for the first time this weekend.

The commercial, for Visa Checkout and PapaJohns.com, has the two players competing to stay one step ahead.

The showdown is foreshadowed as Butler follows Brown out of his hotel room (room 84, of course), around a housekeeping cart, and into an elevator. As "Mr. Brown" exits the hotel and is tossed his car keys, Butler breaks up the "pass" and the keys wind up in a sewer.

But instead of annoyance, Brown nods as if to applaud the effort as the pesky Butler flashes a wide grin.

And the competition is on.

They're off through parts of downtown Pittsburgh, with Butler shadowing Brown as he races toward a hot-dog cart. As they continue their run, Brown gains some separation and places his pizza order. Then after losing Brown for a short period of time in which he is playfully on the front of a boat looking for him, Butler gains ground, and they're running through the streets again toward Heinz Field.

Brown gets there first, and he's about to retrieve his pizza from a delivery man ... when Butler comes racing in to intercept the hand off.

Yet, as it turns out, Brown gets the last laugh.

When the two are aligned across from each other on the field in uniform, Brown tells Butler he has some pizza sauce on his face, and when Butler pauses for a moment to deliberately lick it away, Brown races past him.

Well played, gentlemen.
