CARSON, Calif. -- A breakdown of the Los Angeles Chargers 2017 draft class and its progress after two weeks of training camp.

Mike Williams, WR, first round (No. 7 overall): The Clemson product suffered a lower back disc herniation and has been ruled out of training camp by the team as he works his way back from the injury. However, Williams has started running, and the hope is he can return to the field at some point in 2017.

Forrest Lamp, OL, second round (No. 38 overall): Drafted as a plug-and-play guy for the interior of the Chargers’ offensive line, Lamp suffered a torn ACL in his right knee on the fourth day of training camp while pulling during a running play. Lamp’s injury will require surgery, and he’s been ruled out for the year.

Dan Feeney, OL, third round (No. 71 overall): Feeney has played at center and right guard for the Chargers and is in the mix for a starting job at both spots. At worst, the Indiana product should serve as young, improved depth for the Chargers up front.

Rayshawn Jenkins, S, fourth round (No. 113 overall): The Miami product, known as a big hitter in college, is still finding his way and getting used to the faster pace of play at the NFL level. He has a chance to be an impact player on special teams.

Desmond King, S, fifth round (No. 151 overall): The Iowa product has been a ball magnet at every level of football he’s played (14 interceptions for the Hawkeyes, 29 interceptions in high school), and that has not changed in the NFL. King corralled his first interception in the Chargers’ preseason opener against the Seattle Seahawks and also finished with three combined tackles, a forced fumble and pass deflection. King has worked as a slot defender and free safety on defense.

Sam Tevi, OT, sixth round (No. 190 overall): Tevi has worked as a reserve at both tackle positions and as a defensive tackle on the Chargers’ field goal block unit. Tevi has an uphill climb to make the final roster but could stick as a practice squad guy.

Isaac Rochell seventh round (No. 225 overall): The Norte Dame product has flashed as an interior pass rusher in training camp practices and joint scrimmages. He recorded five combined tackles, half a sack and a quarterback hit against the Seahawks.
