With free agency and the draft in the rearview mirror and organized team activities set to start next week, here’s a starting lineup projection for the Baltimore Ravens:
OFFENSE
QB: Joe Flacco: He has won 83 games since he entered the NFL in 2008. Only five other quarterbacks have won more during that span: Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Ben Roethlisberger and Drew Brees.
RB: Terrance West: He currently sits atop the depth chart after producing a career-high 774 yards rushing last season.
TE: Nick Boyle: The Ravens could go with Benjamin Watson, Crockett Gillmore or Maxx Williams as the second tight end, but Boyle gets the nod here because he could also replace Kyle Juszczyk at fullback.
LT: Ronnie Stanley: He was the NFL's best left tackle during the last four weeks of the season, according to Pro Football Focus.
LG: Alex Lewis: The Ravens believe Lewis' best spot is guard, but he can move to right tackle if rookie fourth-round pick Nico Siragusa shows he can start right away.
C: John Urschel: The NFL's resident math genius will replace three-year starter Jeremy Zuttah unless Baltimore signs free agent Nick Mangold.
RG: Marshal Yanda: The six-time Pro Bowl performer was named the NFL's top offensive lineman in 2016 by Pro Football Focus.
RT: James Hurst: This isn't an ideal situation because Hurst has struggled as a spot starter over the years, but he gets the early nod here over De'Ondre Wesley and rookie Jermaine Eluemunor.
TE: Dennis Pitta: He led NFL tight ends with 86 receptions in 2016, his first full season since 2012.
WR: Mike Wallace: He topped the Ravens with 1,017 yards receiving in his first 1,000-yard season since 2011.
WR: Breshad Perriman: The 2015 first-round pick has yet to produce more than 64 yards receiving in a game.
DEFENSE
DE: Chris Wormley: The rookie third-round pick could be the surprise starter over Bronson Kaufusi and Brent Urban, both of whom have had trouble staying healthy.
NT: Michael Pierce: He's the favorite to replace Timmy Jernigan after he was the second-best rookie interior defensive linemen in the NFL in 2016, according to Pro Football Focus.
DT: Brandon Williams: The top-ranked free agent by ESPN received more guaranteed money ($33.75 million) than any player on the Ravens not named Joe Flacco.
OLB: Terrell Suggs: The franchise's all-time sacks leader turns 35 in October.
ILB: C.J. Mosley: Don't be surprised if Mosley is signing an extension with the Ravens by this time next year.
ILB: Kamalei Correa: The little-used 2016 second-round pick has a big void to fill in replacing Zachary Orr, the team's leading tackler who retired earlier this year.
OLB: Tyus Bowser: The rookie second-round pick can rush the passer (8.5 sacks in eight games last year), stop the run and drop back in coverage.
CB: Jimmy Smith: He has missed a total of 22 games due to injury in his six-year NFL career.
FS: Eric Weddle: He was one of three safeties who recorded more than 85 tackles and three interceptions last season.
SS: Tony Jefferson: The highly sought-after free agent totaled 96 tackles, two sacks, five passes defensed and two forced fumbles last season.
CB: Brandon Carr: He has started every game in his nine-year career, and the Ravens typically don't start rookie cornerbacks right away. That's why first-round pick Marlon Humphrey will be used in a rotation early in the season.
SPECIAL TEAMS
K: Justin Tucker: The unanimous first-team All-Pro selection is the most accurate kicker in NFL history, at 89.8 percent.
P: Sam Koch: He ranked 15th in gross average (45.8 yards) and 18th in net average (39.9) last season.
KR: Chris Moore: He replaced Devin Hester last season and averaged 23.1 yards on seven returns.
PR: Michael Campanaro: He will have to hold off Keenan Reynolds as well as undrafted rookies Tim White and Carlos Davis to keep this job.
