Bledisloe Cup Wallabies name squad with Tom Robertson to start

Tom Robertson will start at loosehead prop for the Wallabies in the Bledisloe Cup opener in Sydney on Saturday night.

The Waratahs front-rower has been brought in place of the injured Scott Sio, partnering the returned Tatafu Polota-Nau and veteran Sekope Kepu.

Elsewhere, skipper Michael Hooper, Izack Rodda and Dane Haylett-Petty have shaken off injuries to take their place at lock and right wing respectively.

As expected, Reece Hodge has won the vacant outside centre position. The Rebels utility will start a Test in the No.13 jersey for the first time after playing in a number of the other backline positions to date.

The uncapped Jack Maddocks has been included on the bench as part of a 5-3 split, while Matt Toomua also suits up from the reserves after returning to action in the Wallabies' trial match at Leichardt Oval a fortnight ago.
