Jamie George is set for his first England start against Samoa Saturday after Eddie Jones made nine changes for his side's final November Test.

George takes the No. 2 shirt from England skipper Dylan Hartley -- who is named among the replacements -- with George Ford and Chris Robshaw named as co-captains.

Robshaw switches to openside flanker for Samoa's visit, with Maro Itoje restored to the starting line-up at blindside and Exeter's Sam Simmonds completing the back row.

Bath lock Charlie Ewels is named alongside Joe Launchbury, while there is a start in the front row for Ellis Genge.

In the backs, Alex Lozowski and Henry Slade form a new-look centre partnership while Mike Brown is fit enough to start at fullback.

"This is an exciting squad to play against Samoa and we are expecting them to be immensely physical and committed this weekend," Jones said.

"This week it is an opportunity for some squad members who haven't been playing to put their best foot forward. We will have to play smart and will need to find ways to win the contest against Samoa."

England team to play Samoa:

Brown, May, Slade, Lozowski, Daly, Ford (co-captain), Care; Genge, George, Cole, Launchbury, Ewels, Itoje, Robshaw (co-captain), Simmonds.

Replacements: Hartley, Marler, Williams, Isiekwe, Lawes, Youngs, Francis, Rokoduguni.
