Eddie Jones has called on a former colleague to assist with England's scrum ahead of next month's autumn internationals.
ESPN understands that Toulon forwards coach Marc dal Maso -- who previously worked alongside Jones and England assistant coach Steve Borthwick with Japan -- will join the England set up as a scrum consultant for three days a week over the next 12 months, while he's committed to do extra work from afar if required.
Neal Hatley is England's full-time scrum and set piece coach.
The appointment of a coaching consultant is nothing new in Jones' England tenure, having previously hired former Wallabies flanker George Smith and rugby league coach Jason Ryles.
It is understood Dal Maso will link up with England before their first international against Argentina on Nov. 11.
