Reds winger Eto Nabuli named to make Wallabies debut vs. Scotland

Eto Nabuli will make his Test debut having been named as the only change to the Wallabies' starting side to face Scotland at Allianz Stadium in Sydney on Saturday.

The Queensland Reds winger will become Wallaby No. 908 when he lines up on the left wing, replacing Henry Speight after the Brumbies flyer suffered a minor hamstring strain in his two-try performance against Fiji in Melbourne last week.

Michael Hooper will again skipper the side with national captain Stephen Moore named among the reserves when the bench was finalised on Friday.

Scott Sio is set to return from a knee injury after he was named among the reserves. Sio, who has spent two months on the sidelines, joins Stephen Moore and Sekope Kepu in a reserve front-row, the same combination that started the 2015 Rugby World Cup Final. Sio is the only change for Cheika's reserves, with the coach preferring a five-three split on the bench.

The Wallabies will also remember the life of Lachlan Ward with a moment's silence before kick-off, after the 25-year-old passed away last weekend while playing for Warringah Rats.

Scotland and Australia have developed an intense rivalry in recent history with their past five meetings each decided by less than a converted try, including the dramatic 2015 Rugby World Cup quarterfinal which the Wallabies claimed in controversial fashion by one point.

Wallabies: Israel Folau, Dane Haylett-Petty, Tevita Kuridrani, Karmichael Hunt, Eto Nabuli, Bernard Foley, Will Genia, Scott Higginbotham, Michael Hooper (captain), Ned Hanigan, Adam Coleman, Sam Carter, Allan Alaalatoa, Tatafu Polota-Nau, Tom Robertson. Reserves; Stephen Moore, Scott Sio, Sekope Kepu, Rory Arnold, Richard Hardwick, Joe Powell, Quade Cooper, Reece Hodge.
