Toulon have announced the signing of National Rugby League star Semi Radradra ahead of next season.

News of Toulon's signing of Radradra, who is currently at the Parramatta Eels, was broken on their official website but the player is yet to confirm the move.

Toulon say they have recruited the league star on a one-year deal with the option of a further year.

The announcement came on the same day he was in hot water after failing to appear in court.

Radradra left for his native Fiji late last week with the Eels' permission to visit his father, who is ill with pulmonary tuberculosis.

He was due in Parramatta Local Court on Monday to answer three charges of domestic violence brought by his former partner Perina Ting, the magistrate was not satisfied with Radradra's absence, citing the nature of his father's illness as ongoing.

Radradra's arrest warrant will be held over until Thursday, offering the Kangaroos winger opportunity to explain his non-appearance.
