Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo did not play Wednesday against the Suns because of right knee soreness.

Antetokounmpo told reporters that this is the same injury that bothered him this summer, when knee pain prevented the forward from playing for the Greek national team in the European championship. He said he wants to be cautious and is planning to return Saturday against the Jazz.

The 22-year-old is averaging career highs of 29.7 points (second in the league) and 10.3 rebounds per game.

The shorthanded Bucks also were without guard Matthew Dellavedova, forward Mirza Teletovic and center John Henson on Wednesday.
