3-point contest competitors revealed

NEW YORK -- Golden State guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will join Atlanta's Kyle Korver and five other players in the Three-Point Contest before the NBA All-Star Game.

Houston's James Harden and Cleveland's Kyrie Irving also will compete along with defending champion Marco Belinelli of San Antonio, Portland's Wesley Matthews and the Los Angeles Clippers' J.J. Redick.

The event is Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The All-Star Game is Feb. 15.

Curry made 10 3-pointers and scored 51 points Wednesday night in the Warriors' home victory over Dallas. On Jan. 23, Thompson made 11 3-pointers -- setting an NBA quarter record with nine in his 37-point third quarter -- in a 52-point game against Sacramento. Korver leads the NBA in 3-point accuracy at 53.2 percent.
