Tyus Battle commits to Michigan

Five-star junior guard Tyus Battle has committed to Michigan.

Battle announced his decision on Twitter.

A 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Gill St. Bernard's (N.J.), Battle is ranked No. 14 in the ESPN 60 for the 2016 class. He chose the Wolverines over Duke, Louisville, UConn, Syracuse and others.

Battle visited Michigan over the weekend and recently took other official trips to Duke and Louisville.

After a quiet 2015 cycle that included only one commitment from German forward Moritz Wagner, John Beilein and the Wolverines already have three pledges for the Class of 2016. Battle joins four-star center Jon Teske and three-star center Austin Davis.
