Bracket projection: Kansas State

Last season the Kansas State Wildcats were picked to finish ninth in the Big 12. This year the early-season outlook was eighth place. Both times, Bruce Weber put together a team and a season that greatly exceeded those external expectations. Weber doesn't coach a glamorous style and the Wildcats have never been that kind of program, but in four of his six years in Manhattan, Weber has gotten them to the NCAA tournament. Only Lon Kruger and Frank Martin got Kansas State to the tournament more consistently, and both had better results once there. Can Weber match their success with this overachieving group of Wildcats?

ESPN Insider has your answers, as Joe Lunardi has enlisted a team of bracketologists to compile advanced metrics, key scouting intel and best- and worst-case tournament scenarios for all 68 teams to help you make smart picks in your bracket.
