FlyQuest have signed mid laner Song "Fly" Yong-jun to complete its 2018 League of Legends roster, sources close to the player and team told ESPN.

Fly will compete with a lineup that consists of top laner Lee "Flame" Ho-jong, jungler Andy "AnDa" Hoang, AD carry Jason "WildTurtle" Tran and support William "Stunt" Chen. FlyQuest will play starting Jan. 19, the first day of the 2018 season.

FlyQuest came to a buyout agreement with Immortals to pick up Stunt on Sunday and another with Team Liquid to acquire AnDa on Thursday. The team signed Flame in free agency and retained WildTurtle, who was a member of the squad throughout the 2017 season.

Fly has competed with a Gold Coin United in the North American Challenger Series over the summer but is originally from South Korea. His career has seen him play for South Korean teams Jin Air and KT Rolster, and he had a stint in China with Invictus Gaming and Young Glory as well.

The lineup is the second in the North American League Championship Series to pick up three members of the now-disbanded Immortals League of Legends lineup. Team Liquid originally acquired four members: AnDa, AD carry Cody Sun, mid laner Eugene "Pobelter" Park and jungler Jake "Xmithie" Puchero. Liquid has now sold AnDa's and will sell Cody Sun's contract but also acquired former Immortals support Kim "Olleh" Joo-sung.

Wesley Edens-owned FlyQuest was accepted back into the North American League of Legends Championship Series in October. The team, which bought the slot of Cloud9 Challenger and four of that team's players for $2.5 million in December, will now gear up for its second season in the league.
