Home finale hits commits

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Shortly before Michigan took the field against Iowa on Saturday, 2013 quarterback commit Shane Morris (Warren, Mich./De La Salle) realized that the next time he or anyone else entered Michigan Stadium for a football game Morris would be a player, not a fan.

"It was pretty crazy knowing the next time I'll be there I'll be on the team," Morris said. "It was cool to watch [the senior day activities], those guys with their families out there after four years."

Morris was one of six 2013 commits in attendance at the final home game of the season. He was joined by Michigan natives Csont'e York (Detroit/Chandler Park) and Da'Mario Jones (Westland, Mich./John Glenn) as well as Dymonte Thomas (Alliance, Ohio/Marlington), Mike McCray II (Trotwood, Ohio/Trotwood-Madison) and Channing Stribling (Matthews, NC/Butler).
