Nkemdiche, teammates enjoy tour

On Saturday, four of the top juniors from the AAAAA state champion Grayson High School squad were in Athens, Ga., to visit the University of Georgia. One has long been a priority, but by the end of the day he was not the only Ram with an offer to play for the Bulldogs. Nevertheless, the Georgia staff made sure to take advantage of having on campus a prospect considered by many to be not only the best in Georgia but the best in the nation. Georgia, it seems, is determined to be a major contender for the elite in-state target from Loganville.

Defensive end Robert Nkemdiche (Loganville, Ga./Grayson) has been to Athens before, but this time he was able to spend the entire day one on one with the coaches at Georgia.

"I knew what to expect when I went up there, and it felt good to go up there and spend time with the coaches, see the facilities and watch some of the highlights," Nkemdiche said. "It was good spending time with Mark Richt, Todd Grantham, and Coach T [Joe Tereshinski], the strength coach."
