LeBron James continued his basketball dominance over Kevin Durant with the Cleveland Cavaliers' 104-100 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday.

James is now 16-4 (including playoffs) in head-to-head matchups with Durant, including 7-0 as a member of the Cavaliers.

James finished with 33 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists. It’s the 13th time he missed a “points-rebounds-assists” triple-double by one rebound, most among active players. Rajon Rondo ranks second with nine such games. Kobe Bryant is third with eight.

James finished with 63 points created (points + points scored off his assists), the most he’s had in any game this season.

Durant did a decent job when guarding James, holding him to 5-of-14 shooting. But James was solid when guarding Durant, limiting him to one make on five attempts.

In their 15 regular-season meetings, James has scored 443 points. Durant has totaled 437. James went ahead of Durant in this game.

The Elias Sports Bureau notes James has outscored every player he’s gone head-to-head against at least 10 times (391 different players).
