Trent Williams, LT, fourth Pro Bowl selection: Williams deserved a trip to Hawaii once again. His work started in the offseason when he shed 15-20 pounds, feeling as if he had let his weight get a little too high. He also wanted to be ready for demanding line coach Bill Callahan. It paid off as Williams has been fantastic once again. Williams will have issues on occasion, but he has played at a high level most of the time on a line that currently includes one other player with more than 14 career starts. Williams’ quickness makes him a force and allows the Redskins to do things with him that other teams would not ask of their left tackles because of his athleticism. He’ll be asked to sprint out on blocks in space that would be too tough for others. It's no wonder that some teammates consider him their most athletic player.

Jordan Reed, TE: Tight end was a difficult spot because it’s a top-heavy position, and Reed is deserving of at least being an alternate. It’s hard to argue against any of those who made the Pro Bowl: Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce, Greg Olsen or Tyler Eifert. Reed is second in the NFL with 74 catches and third with nine touchdowns -- both numbers higher than Kelce. Reed is one of the toughest matchups at the position. It’s only a matter of time, if he stays healthy, before he’s in this game. It's hard to argue against any of the four being in the game, but it's difficult to leave Reed out.
