Even without the fan vote, the votes of coaches and players, which also count one-third each, could have put him over the top. Alas, he didn’t get enough there, either. After two touchdowns on two catches in a loss at New England on Sunday, he said he was indifferent to milestones and recognition. “People say, ‘He’s on a bad team,’” Walker said. “But I’m doing it on a bad team. I get confused because I would think that you should praise that. If he’s doing it on a bad team, and you know I am getting the ball, then stop me.” Walker is a first alternate, as is Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey.
