DETROIT -- Overheard in the locker room following the Detroit Lions' 20-10 win over the Chicago Bears on Saturday.

Cornerback Darius Slay on Golden Tate's pirouette on the sidelines: "Oh, the twinkle toes. That's my dawg. That's my dawg. I love that. It's like a little Peter Pan."

Slay on being alive in playoffs: "Yeah, we alive. We know that in our room. So in order to win that, we got to win. So we'll take one at a time and keep fighting and just keep working. We know what's at stake."

Slay on why the fan base should trust this Lions team: "The fan base? Cause they fans. If you not a fan, I don't know. That just don't make sense. I don't know. If you a fan, you should want your team to win. That's not heartful. Gosh."

Linebacker Jarrad Davis on the defensive game plan Saturday: "The biggest thing was just to stop the run. Mitch [Trubisky], he's a rookie just like me and I know the struggles I'm going through so I can only imagine what he's going through as the quarterback of an offense. So to be able to put the ball in his hands and make him win the game, I think that's a really tough thing to do. That's a really, really tough thing to do."

Quarterback Matthew Stafford on plays like Marvin Jones Jr.'s 58-yard catch is basically just taking chances on deep passes: "Possibly, I don't know. You know, I think obviously you've got to have a really talented guy to go up and get the ball. He's (Jones Jr.) a really good body control guy. He's made some big plays and I'm not afraid to give him chances. You know, I think the further you get down the field, the more uncomfortable the guys on defense get and probably the more advantage you have as an offensive player."

Tight end Eric Ebron on a cycle of he's targeted more the more he's catching the ball: "That's kind of how it works. I don't mind it. It looks good on my résumé. Pretty sure the OC is happy. Stafford's happy. So as long as we're doing that, that's all that matters."

Lions coach Jim Caldwell on if RB Theo Riddick hurt his wrist on the fumble: "You know, some of the times it's kind of difficult to tell. I mean, obviously he had some issues, surgery, on those things, so something may have popped up. Not certain of the extent of it as of yet, but we'll take a look at it and see."

Lions coach Jim Caldwell on Matthew Stafford handling pressure well: "I think our line, we had a lot of guys in and out of there, did a pretty good job overall. But one sack is one too many, but Matthew, he's been on a tear lately, been playing well. He's been playing well for a while, so he hangs in there, delivers the ball. He's got some receivers making plays for him too. That catch by Marvin Jones and a couple other guys making some things happen for him, so he's got some guys that are helping him."
