Bills RB LeSean McCoy breaks down how the extreme conditions on Sundays game against the Colts affected how he played. (1:06)

Taking a weekly look at Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy's fantasy output in his last game and his outlook for Sunday:

Week 14 statistics: 32 rushes, 156 yards, one touchdown; no catches.

Week 14 fantasy output (ESPN PPR scoring): 21.6 points (29th overall, 12th among running backs)

Week 14 fantasy output (ESPN standard scoring): 21.6 points (15th overall, eighth among running backs)

What happened vs. Indianapolis Colts: The combination of extreme snow and an overtime game led to McCoy carrying the ball a career-high 32 times Sunday. His 156 rushing yards were the most of his Bills career and the sixth-most of his NFL career.

From a fantasy perspective, McCoy posted his fourth-best game of the season. His total scoring, especially in PPR formats, was depressed by his not being targeted in the passing game. It was only McCoy's fifth career game without a pass target.

From a real-world football perspective, McCoy has turned around what had been an inconsistent -- if not disappointing -- season. He has averaged 5.12 yards per carry since Week 10, the seventh-best mark among NFL running backs over that span. Through Week 9, McCoy was averaging 3.66 yards per carry, which ranked 34th among running backs.

McCoy also surpassed 1,000 rushing yards on the season in Sunday's win over Indianapolis, the sixth time in his nine NFL seasons he has done so.

McCoy ranks fifth in the NFL with 1,007 rushing yards, his highest spot on the rushing leaderboard since after Week 1. He ranked as low as 23rd after Weeks 3 and 6.

What to expect Sunday vs. Miami Dolphins: McCoy now has 9,961 career rushing yards, putting him 39 yards short of becoming the 30th member of the NFL's club of 10,000-yard career rushers. He currently ranks third among active rushers behind Frank Gore (13,827 yards; fifth all-time) and Adrian Peterson (12,276 yards; 12th all-time).

McCoy has a realistic shot of passing Ricky Williams (10,009 yards) and Ottis Anderson (10,273 yards) by season's end to rank 28th on the NFL's all-time rushing list as he approaches his 30th birthday next July.

Since the summer, McCoy has used the hashtag "#10kchase" on many of his social media posts to recognize his pursuit of the millstone. He has also made T-shirts with that hashtag. However, he told ESPN in June that 12,000 career yards will be a better milestone to headline a potential Hall of Fame résumé.

"There’s not a lot of people that haven't [been inducted] with 12,000 yards," he said. "That’s something I’m shooting for."

Of the 16 players with at least 12,000 career rushing yards, 13 are in the Hall of Fame. Two, Gore and Peterson, are still active. The other is Edgerrin James, who has been a semifinalist for induction the past four years.
