Sean McDermott gets Bills back to business, removes locker room games

Changing the culture around the Buffalo Bills has been a central message since Sean McDermott took over as coach in January, and recent changes in the team's locker room suggest an all-business atmosphere will be a priority.

At McDermott's direction, the Bills have removed a pool table and video games from their locker room. Both had been installed, along with a table tennis table, during a 2014 locker-room renovation and expansion while Doug Marrone was coach. The games remained when Rex Ryan replaced Marrone in 2015.

The table tennis, popular among guard Richie Incognito and other players with lockers in the vicinity, will stay. But the removal of the other games signals a shift in focus from a loose, loungelike feel to the locker room under Ryan to what McDermott hopes will be a more business-oriented atmosphere.

The pool table was listed on an auction website this month.
