          Jacksonville Jaguars' Allen Robinson not selected to the Pro Bowl

          Allen Robinson, WR: He’s the one Jaguars player who should have made the Pro Bowl, but instead was named as the first alternate receiver. However, he deserved to make the team. Not only is Robinson already having one of the best seasons by a receiver in team history, he’s also having one of the best seasons in the NFL this season. He’s tied for the league lead with 13 touchdown catches and seventh in receiving yards (1,141). His 16.5 yards-per-catch average is better than every other player with 1,000 yards receiving except for Indianapolis’ T.Y. Hilton (16.7). Robinson already has the Jaguars’ receiving touchdown record and is the first Jaguars player since Jimmy Smith in 2005 to surpass 1,000 yards. He’s hurt by the fact that he plays for the small-market Jaguars, who played only one nationally televised game this season, and the team’s poor record (5-9). He has made several acrobatic, highlight-reel catches, which should have helped his exposure a bit.
