Mike Pouncey, C, third Pro Bowl selection: Pouncey was back at his natural position of center full-time in 2015, and the results showed. He had another good season in the middle of an otherwise shaky offensive line. The Dolphins averaged 4.6 yards per rush attempt in part due to Pouncey’s ability to open holes in the middle and his athleticism to pull. Last season Pouncey was somewhat inconsistent playing at guard out of necessity but still made his second Pro Bowl. This year he is more deserving of the honor.

Reshad Jones, S: There are not three safeties in the NFL who had a better season than Jones -- let alone in the AFC. Jones was snubbed in favor of more well-known conference safeties Charles Woodson, Eric Berry and Reggie Nelson. In a defense that includes bigger names such as Ndamukong Suh, Cameron Wake and Brent Grimes, it was Jones who was Miami’s most consistent defender from Week 1 to 15. Jones leads the Dolphins in both tackles (124) and interceptions (five). Two of his five interceptions also were returned for touchdowns, and a third was a game-saving interception in the end zone against the Philadelphia Eagles. There wasn’t much more Jones could do to get into the Pro Bowl other than play for a better team.
