Match Commentary

81'+228-20 End of second half
80'
80'Despite the Chiefs working it to phase 17, they've lost eventually lost the ball and... GAME OVER! SARACENS ARE CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND!
79'Nearly a Chris Ashton try, but the kick's too long and he also can't get a solid hand on it. No try!
79'MAN OF THE MATCH: Alex Goode -- 19 carries, with 150 metres!
78'You can't help but think the Chiefs must be beaten here...
77'Chiefs back on the charge, and they're putting their bodies on the line more than ever now. Bash, barge, bash, barge... But Saracens have won the penalty in their own half.
76'Potential party over for Exeter?

Brilliant play. Poke Saracens with a stick and they come back and bite you. Swift offload from Ashton down the right flank finds Goode who slams home for the five points! Missed the kick though, eight points in it...
76'28-20 Try - Alex Goode , Saracens
75'Ashton trying to find a try of his own down the left, but he's taken on too much work and is slammed to the deck. They're looking to keep the tempo high.
74'Substitute on - Jack Yeandle , Exeter Chiefs
74'Player substituted - Luke Cowan-Dickie , Exeter Chiefs
74'Player substituted - Duncan Taylor , Saracens
74'Substitute on - Marcelo Bosch , Saracens
73'23-20 Try - Jack Nowell , Exeter Chiefs
73'23-15 Conversion - Gareth Steenson , Exeter Chiefs
72'Huge try from Nowell. Unbelievable finish. Dollman gives him the ball to early, doesn't draw the defender and Nowell to do it all himself. Tight kick for Steenson, though..!
71'The Sarries doing well are propelling the invaders, or are they...?
71'Substitute on - Jim Hamilton , Saracens
71'Player substituted - Will Fraser , Saracens
70'Exeter have worked this to phase five and are now inside Saracens 22...
70'Itoje being a real nuisance on the driving maul -- which has gained about 10m territory for the Chiefs. "Get out Maro!" Barnes shouts at bunch.
69'Itoje clinging on for dear life on the ground, but referee Barnes doesn't like it. Penalised for not releasing and Steenson's kicked that for the lineout.
68'Hodgson's on for Saracens, playing in his final game!
68'
68'Substitute on - Charlie Hodgson , Saracens
68'Player substituted - Owen Farrell , Saracens
68'Player substituted - Richard Wigglesworth , Saracens
68'Substitute on - Neil de Kock , Saracens
68'Substitute on - Michele Campagnaro , Exeter Chiefs
68'Player substituted - Ian Whitten , Exeter Chiefs
68'Player substituted - Jack Yeandle , Exeter Chiefs
68'Substitute on - Luke Cowan-Dickie , Exeter Chiefs
66'But, the Chiefs can't hold possession for long as Saracens pounce on their mistakes. Itoje makes a break for it, and very nearly looks like he's try-bound, but he's JUST pinned down. Exeter surviving by the skin of their teeth.
66'Player substituted - Mako Vunipola , Saracens
66'Substitute on - Richard Barrington , Saracens
65'Great pressure from Exeter on the scrum restart, and they've earnt the penalty! Steenson can kick his side out of this danger zone and start putting the pressure back on the Sarries again.
65'Substitute on - Dave Lewis , Exeter Chiefs
65'Player substituted - Will Chudley , Exeter Chiefs
65'Player substituted - Don Armand , Exeter Chiefs
65'Substitute on - Julian Salvi , Exeter Chiefs
64'Injury scare for Don Armand. Looks like a neck issue, and the medical team are on. Fortunately, he's on his feet, but he's off.
64'Player substituted - Geoff Parling , Exeter Chiefs
64'Substitute on - Damian Welch , Exeter Chiefs
62'Outstanding work from Jack Nowell. Brute strength!

Farrell's kicked it long into the corner, and Nowell has run from the OPPOSITE flank to claim the ball. The Sarries have tried to force him into touch once he's on it, but the winger's even managed to stop that for five or seconds before reinforcements came in to support him. Great work.
62'Scrum penalty Sarries. They can escape their half.
61'Exeter have had 85% of the possession during this second half so far.

Saracens scrum at the moment, and it's been reset twice already. Both sides having difficulty.
61'Substitute on - Kai Horstmann , Exeter Chiefs
61'Player substituted - Julian Salvi , Exeter Chiefs
59'Ewers used as the battering ram for the Chiefs as they bash their way into the Saracens line. They're about 15m's out after being initially pushed back off their lineout...
59'Another huge call from Steenson. They've been gifted yet ANOTHER penalty and he's kicked it for the corner rather than take the points.
58'And this Exeter lineout isn't as effective. Good defensive work from the Saracens line.
56'Driving maul works wonders again and they've got the penalty! Too far out for the sticks though, and Steenson's opted for the corner again. Here we go...
55'Exeter are fully back in this game and have seized momentum. They've got another lineout, but not in such an offensive position.
55'Substitute on - James Short , Exeter Chiefs
55'Player substituted - Olly Woodburn , Exeter Chiefs
55'23-13 Conversion - Gareth Steenson , Exeter Chiefs
54'
53'The driving maul makes good ground and we could be looking at an Exeter try here...!
53'23-11 Try - Jack Yeandle , Exeter Chiefs
52'And the Chiefs have won the scrum penalty infront of the posts! But, they're heading into the corner via Steenson.
52'Substitute on - Jackson Wray , Saracens
52'Player substituted - Michael Rhodes , Saracens
52'Substitute on - Juan Figallo , Saracens
52'Player substituted - Petrus Du Plessis , Saracens
52'Substitute on - Jamie George , Saracens
52'Player substituted - Schalk Brits , Saracens
51'Brits is subbed off, and we've got the scrum now -- Sarries to feed.
49'Exeter piling on the pressure, the intent is there but the usual fluency to their game is missing. They're pushing though, and credit to Saracens for keeping them at bay.
47'Wigglesworth punt, and we're just watching these two sides kick it long to each other. Saracens will be happy with this, they're the ones with the time to kill...
47'Player substituted - Harry Williams , Exeter Chiefs
47'Substitute on - Tomas Francis , Exeter Chiefs
47'Substitute on - Alec Hepburn , Exeter Chiefs
47'Player substituted - Ben Moon , Exeter Chiefs
47'Player substituted - Luke Cowan-Dickie , Exeter Chiefs
47'Substitute on - Jack Yeandle , Exeter Chiefs
44'So close for the Chiefs! They look like they've found a gap for the try down the left flank, and all it needed was one more pass down the line and they were bound to be collecting five points! But, Dollman's final pass is into the hands of Ashton rather than one of his teammates. Close!
43'Better start from Exeter so far, some much better tempo to their play and they look like they're actually up for it during this half. Ewers powers with the ball in hand up to the half way, and the Sarries are trying their best to absorb all this.
42'Immense strength from Maro Itoje wins the turnover for his team and suffocates the looming Exeter attack from the off.
41'Only once has the team behind at halftime in the final come from behind to win. Wasps 2004!
41'We're back underway at Twickenham.
41'+123-6 Penalty goal - Gareth Steenson , Exeter Chiefs
41'+223-6 End of first half
40'23-6 Start of second half
39'Chiefs looking to claim a few points to go into the dressing room with at half time, they've worked it to phase 12 and are inside the Saracens 22...
39'23-3 Conversion - Owen Farrell , Saracens
38'The Chiefs are in danger of being completely walked over here, they'll be desperate to regroup at the break...
37'21-3 Try - Chris Wyles , Saracens
36'What a try from Wyles! Long pass to the American on the left flank, and Henry Slade over commits on the inside -- he needed to trust Nowell more with his defensive duties there -- and some great footwork and good balance from Wyles opens up the way for the try!

That's Wyles' 33rd try in 150 Prem games.
36'Goode this time trying his own version of the 'Brits' midfield run, but the Chiefs have smartened up this time and shut him down.
35'16-3 Conversion - Owen Farrell , Saracens
34'14-3 Try - Duncan Taylor , Saracens
33'Try for Duncan Taylor!

Brits' breakthrough paved the way for that try, but Farrell's decision making and execution of the diagonal kick along the deck to find Duncan was simply perfection.
32'Devastating run from Brits! He's picked the ball inside his own half, run a good 30m or so, before being forced to offload to his left inside the Exeter's 22...
30'Poor, inaccurate passing from Exeter, who eventually find Nowell on the right flank, but the winger's forced to kick it straight off the deck to stop Saracens' Farrell latching onto it.
29'The Chiefs have made their way into the Saracens half, which has been a very rare occurrence so far! But, it's been kicked long and we have yet another lineout.
27'Cheifs have given up another three points...

Exeter's headcoach Rob Baxter on the game so far: "I'm a little disappointed at this stage. Defensively we're pretty good and pretty offensive but attacking wise we've not really clicked."
27'9-3 Penalty goal - Owen Farrell , Saracens
24'Simple Exeter lineout is too long and pinched by the Sarries -- they've been gifted that one! Farrell's tried the dropkick from just metres out moments later, but it's spectacularly closed down by Whitten.
23'Well, he may have fluffed the dropkick, but he's nailed that penalty kick. Chiefs are back to three behind. The West Country side have down well to stay within touching distance given they've barely even got out of their own half yet...
23'6-3 Penalty goal - Gareth Steenson , Exeter Chiefs
22'Drop goal-missed
21'Game's stuck in a bit of midfield/lineout battle, but Steenson's tried for the drop goal from a long way out. He's missed it, but play's been brought back for another Exeter penalty. Itoje's been penalised.
19'Slade tries to kick long for his team to chase, but it's poor and has fallen out into touch. Lineout for Saracens.
18'Solid tackle from Woodburn shuts down the bombarding M.Vunipola. Scrum!
17'Saracens enjoying plenty of possession and Exeter are working hard just to get the scoreline in the single digits.
14'Sarries pouring forward once more with several players inside the Chiefs 22. However, there's enough intensity in the their defensive line to keep the European champions at bay. For how long can they how this up, though?
14'Dazzling run from Goode who dances with the ball in hand past three Exeter defenders. M.Vunipola's poor final pass along the right wing goes into touch however, and the Chiefs can have a moments rest before prepping for set-piece.
12'Chudley again opting to kick long for his team to chase, and this time it's a tad better in terms of runners and pressure from his teammates, but it's a knock on. Scrum!
11'Chiefs are really on the back foot and are kicking long to try and test Goode. However, they can't get any bodies to put him under pressure in time and the Englishman collects with ease in the air. Sarries to attack, again.
10'6-0 Penalty goal - Owen Farrell , Saracens
8'Vunipola trying to rev through the gears after a decent, routine lineout. The Sarries are up to 5m line and this is looking promising...
7'However, Saracens have earnt the penalty! Good solid push and the Chiefs surrender. They've kicked for lineout deep in Exeter's 22.
6'Scrum time! First set-piece of the game, and it's in the hands of the Chiefs...
4'Saracens are the side on the front foot so far, not only in terms of points but also in the amount of possession. Nowell's stolen the ball back for the Chiefs inside their own 22, but he's quickly pinned to the deck.
3'3-0 Penalty goal - Owen Farrell , Saracens
2'And Saracens have already got the first penalty of the game, with Farrell teeing it up for the first three points.
