Former Oral Roberts shooting guard Kris Martin announced Sunday on Twitter that he is transferring to Colorado State.

Martin, a 6-foot-6 sophomore from Frisco, Texas, averaged 13.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 28 games last season. He played 30.6 minutes per game for an Oral Roberts team that went 8-22 and finished ninth in the Summit Conference.
Under NCAA rules, Martin will have to sit out the 2017-18 season and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Colorado State went 24-12 last season.
