The beloved tradition of the Masters Par 3 Contest is back for its 62nd edition.

Dating back to 1960, when Sam Snead won the inaugural contest, the Par 3 Contest is a lighthearted competition where contestants and past Masters champions are invited to play on a shortened nine-hole course. Often, golfers choose relatives, celebrities, spouses or children as their caddies.

Though the competition is lighthearted, the contestants still play to win.

There have been 107 holes-in-one made in the history of the competition, according to ESPN Stats & Information. In 2023, there were five holes-in-one -- by Scottie Scheffler, Séamus Power (who had two), Bubba Watson and Tom Hoge.

Superstition may cause contestants who are actively competing in the Masters to try not to win -- no winner of the Par 3 Contest has ever won the Masters in the same year.

Here are some of the best moments from this year's Par 3 Contest:

Holes-in-one

Though this is a more lighthearted competition, golfers' skill sets are still on full display. Luke List showed off during the contest with a hole-in-one on No. 6.

Gary Woodland followed up with another.

Slam Dunk!

On his first attempt on No. 8, Bryson DeChambeau's ball ended up in the water. He redeemed himself on his second attempt with a fantastic dunk.

'We are family!'

Spending time outdoors in nice weather with family is always nice. But the one-up is being able to do something you love with family along every step -- or putt -- of the way. Grayson Murray's fiancée, Christiana, displayed that Murray isn't the only golfer in the household.

The kids also stole the show at the Masters Par 3 Contest.
