2023 Ryder Cup: Highlights and what you might have missed from Europe's win

Team Europe held on Sunday in singles, beating Team U.S 16½-11½. to win the Ryder Cup at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club outside Rome. Europe hasn't lost on its home soil since 1993.

Tommy Fleetwood's birdie on No. 16 ensured Europe of at least a half point in his match, guaranteeing it enough to win.

It hasn't been pretty for the Americans, but there have been moments. Max Homa -- who secured Team USA's first win of the tournament with a walk off chip-in eagle earlier Saturday -- delivered on this shot.

Burns can't hear you

Considering the largest final-day deficit overcome to win the Ryder Cup is four points, the Americans will have their work cut out for them entering Sunday. But that hasn't dimmed Sam Burns' competitive spirit.
