Marco Borriello has called time on his short stay with Carpi by joining their Serie A rivals Atalanta.
The 33-year-old former AC Milan and West Ham striker signed for promoted Carpi in the summer and scored four league goals in 12 appearances.
But a move to Bergamo has tempted the seven-cap Italy international away and, after he passed a medical on Thursday morning, his transfer was confirmed on Atalanta's official website.
