Jamie Carragher, Steven Gerrard insulted by El-Hadji Diouf

El-Hadji Diouf has launched another scathing attack on his former Liverpool teammates Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard.

In December, Diouf had branded Carragher the biggest "turkey" he had shared a pitch with and also told So Foot that Gerrard only cared about scoring rather than Liverpool winning.

In a new interview with the same French magazine, the Senegalese attacker condemned Carragher again in a strongly worded rant.

"The difference between Jamie and me is that I'm a world-class player and he's a s---," Diouf told So Foot. "The type of s--- who's going to produce a book in which I'll be mentioned again.

"Me, in my book, he'll only be entitled to one sentence: He's a f---ing loser."

The former Bolton, Blackburn and Leeds United player did not hold back when asked if he had meant what he said about Gerrard.

"I carried the national team for many years -- 14 million fans on my shoulders," Diouf said. "When we won, it was thanks to me. When we lost, it was my fault.

"What I represent for Senegal, he will never represent even a 100th of that for England. He never did anything in the World Cup or at the European Championships.

"When I arrived at Liverpool, because I did what I wanted, he felt that I didn't respect the club, but he completely killed his team by slipping against Chelsea [in April 2014]. If Liverpool have never won the Premier League, it's no coincidence."

Diouf also discussed a 2008 dispute with his ex-Sunderland teammate Anton Ferdinand, a player he had described as having "two left feet" in the previous interview.

"We were not fighting -- I sorted him out before we were separated," Diouf said. "I said to him, 'Let's go to the gym, I will take you on.' He did not want to.

"I said, 'You're like your brother [Rio Ferdinand]... you walk like him, you eat like him -- write your own story.'

"Inevitably, it was difficult in terms of the atmosphere, I spent six s---ty months there. We were not a team. There were little w---ers in the squad who thought they were the best but they were crap. Anton, he was the No. 1 w---er."

Diouf also claimed he later crossed paths with Ferdinand and several of his friends in a Manchester nightclub.

"I ignored him," Diouf said. "That must have bothered him, so he came over to test me.

"I'm a man, I can defend myself. If there is a crazy guy who wants to take me on, I'll show him that I'm crazier than him.

"The first of his friends who came too close to me, he ended up running away.

"Since I was drinking Champagne, I broke my glass and I attacked them ... I came out unscathed, and since then, the club uses plastic glasses."
