Transfer Rater: Yazici to Liverpool, Mangala to West Ham

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Yusuf Yazici to Liverpool

Yusuf Yazici has been earmarked as a Liverpool target, with Jurgen Klopp impressed by the highly rated 20-year-old. Turkish Football reported on Tuesday that both the Reds and Merseyside rivals Everton had scouts in attendance to watch him and Trabzonspor beat Konyaspor over the weekend. Last term he scored four in 18 league games.

Luciano Vietto to Everton

Ronald Koeman's search for a striker continues, with Vietto an option for the Toffees. The 23-year-old Argentine, linked to Monaco and Southampton, managed six goals in 21 La Liga appearances while on loan for Sevilla last term. Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is apparently happy to sell, while interested clubs would prefer a loan.

Eliaquim Mangala to West Ham United

Slaven Bilic made some strong moves in the summer, adding Premier League experience to his defence in Joe Hart and Pablo Zabaleta, but more could be needed before the window closes. Mangala, an Inter Milan target, is available from Manchester City and could be an option for the Croatian boss. The 26-year-old has plenty of experience from his time in Spain and also playing in the Champions League.

Joel Ward to West Brom

After completing the deal for Everton's Gareth Barry, it looks like Tony Pulis isn't finished this summer. West Brom are now linked with making a move for Crystal Palace right-back Ward, according to The Sun. Ward, who would provide competition for Albert Nyom at the back, played 38 times in the league for Crystal Palace last term. The 27-year-old started in the opening day defeat to Huddersfield, so it remains to be seen if Frank De Boer will be happy to let him go to another Premier League team.

Miquel Nelom to Celtic

With Kieran Tierney long linked with a move away from Celtic Park, it must worry fans of the champions when they are mentioned in the same breath as another left-back. However, Feyenoord's Miquel Nelom seems like a back-up to the young Scotland international, rather than a replacement. He was in and out the Feyenoord side as they won the title last term and with Tierney the only recognised left-sided defender in the squad, it's a move that makes sense from Brendan Rodgers.
