Cho "Mata" Se-hyeong has joined KT Rolster, according to a report by South Korean publication FOMOS. The signing brings an end to KT Rolster's rebuilding process, rounding out a starting five that includes Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu, Go "Score" Dong-bin, Heo "PawN" Won-seok and Song "Smeb" Kyung-ho.

Mata returns to the South Korean region after spending two years in the Chinese circuit. In 2015, the support joined Vici Gaming alongside Choi "DanDy" In-kyu, but the pair was unable to qualify for the World Championship. In 2016, he signed with Royal Never Give Up and reached the Worlds quarterfinals, losing 3-1 to eventual champions SK Telecom T1.

The acquisition positions KT Rolster in a favorable standing to dethrone SK Telecom T1 from the top of the South Korean circuit, reigniting the Telecom Wars that shaped Korean esports history since the rise of StarCraft: Brood War.
